STROLL AROUND TORNO-VILLA PLINIANA

In Torno, a few steps, next to the church of San Giovanni, which preserves a nail of the Cross, the path to the sixteenth-century Villa Pliniana starts. The wonderful villa was built over a source of karst water described by Pliny the Younger and studied by Leonardo. It deserves to get close, in 20 minutes along the path lined with beautiful plants and flowers, interspersed with villas with gardens. Like the Villa “La Romantica”, which belonged to the writer Raffaele Calzini who made it the protagonist of the short stories "Lovers": a page of his book glued under the bell proves it.
