Playgrounds
Most of the villages have designated playgrounds for children, with swings and roundabouts, green spaces, and a nice view. In particular, the following countries have beautiful game parks and easily accessible: Menaggio, Mezzegra, Cernobbio, Como, Griante, Cadenabbia, Varenna.
Lido di Lenno - Lenno
The Lido di Lenno overlooks Villa Balbianello and the bay. During the day it is a place beside the lake perfect for families with sun beds, sandy beaches, a large cafeteria and a snack bar.
Lido di Menaggio – Menaggio
The Lido di Menaggio recently reopened after a two year restoration. Its location right on the lake makes it very attractive E 'equipped with two swimming pools, including one for children, a sandy beach, three restaurants, activities for children, volleyball, and its brewery. It is one of the children's favorite and it's reasonably priced. Parking is strangely easy.
Minigolf – Menaggio
Believe it or not you can actually play in this funny mini golf next to one of the most beautiful walks of Lake Como. It’s just two minutes from Lido di Menaggio, and five minutes from the center of the village of Menaggio.
Swissminatur
In Melide, near Lugano (Switzerland), an amazing mini Switzerland Park where you can see reconstructed all the famous places of Switzerland in one shot! Are present amusements, carousels and a technological miniature train that children and adults can see along the way. There is also a restaurant and a gift shop and a playground nearby, with a large grassy area for play and picnics.
Castle of Vezio Varenna
You can visit the tower and the vaults, dating back to the Middle Ages, with its ancient fortress, surrounded by olive groves There are daily shows. In addition, the Castello of Vezio is a breeding center, to care and training raptors. The raptors are visible every day, from 10 to 16 in the castle garden. For adults, it is a nice walk with stunning views.
Prehistoric Park
A Rivolta d’Adda vi è un Parco della Preistoria che invita i bambini a scoprire i dinosauri e la terra preistorica. Ci sono modelli di dimensioni naturale di animali preistorici in tutto il parco e una mostra di fossili e minerali. C'è anche un labirinto in cui perdersi giocando. Questo parco è parte del più ampio Parco dell'Adda Sud. I bambini di tutte le età adorano questo posto! C'è un treno che fa il giro del parco da prendersi a figli esausti.
Jungle Raider Parco
A crazy and fantastic adventure park in the forest in Civenna (about 15 km from Bellagio), built between the trees of a forest of conifers, near the Lambro river sources. The park is full of obstacle courses in the trees; from trunks of walkways and bridges linking one tree to another. It 'a way to combine fun with exercise and fresh air. It is suitable for all levels (those younger to be accompanied by an adult)
